By booking this trip you are automatically consenting to the terms and conditions of RailsNW and all our suppliers, including Tranz Scenic railroad. If you don't agree to these terms, don't submit the order.

Substitute equipment
Railway operations reserves the right to substitute equipment as needed.
Tariff
Fares are quoted in New Zealand dollars inclusive of GST. Processing and other fees are extra. They are valid through September 30th, 2010 unless otherwise indicated, and are subject to change without notice.
Return fares are generally double the one way fares. Discount fares may be advertised from time to time but these may carry different conditions. Please note: This is NOT a ‘hop-on, hop-off’ service.
Ticketing and Payment
Payment is due at time of booking. RailsNW will assess a $35 USD late booking fee for all reservation requests received within one month of departure. Fares will be converted from NZD to U.S. currency at time of processing. We do not offer Senior, Student, or Pensioner rates.
Duplicate Reservations
You are encouraged NOT to make duplicate bookings! If you do, both reservations may be cancelled without recourse (meaning you pay for both reservations, but get no refund). If a duplicate reservation is found during the booking process, we will assess a 15% penalty ($35 USD minimum) and cancel your RailsNW booking.
Cancellations and Changes
The following schedule of fees (per person) will be levied in respect of cancellation of normal fares:

Luggage
40 kilograms of luggage may be conveyed free of charge in the luggage car. This allows 2 items not exceeding 20 kg each and not exceeding 200 linear centimeters. Excess luggage prices on application. Due to space constraints, guests should only take on board hand luggage required for their journey. Remaining luggage should be checked in up to 30 minutes before departure. Unchecked luggage is carried at owner's risk. Cardboard, plastic or wooden boxes, garbage bags or tea chests will not be accepted as baggage. Bags should be secured and carry the owner's name, destination and contact phone number both inside and outside the bag. Explosive, combustible and inflammable materials are prohibited. Items such as foodstuffs, plants, animals and furniture cannot be accepted as personal luggage.

Full Names (including titles) are required for all guests. Ages are required for children
Confirmation
Confirmation of South Pacific arrangements can take 2-5 working days to complete (additional time if you are booking a package). You will receive an order number when your order has been received, and a confirmation email once all arrangements have been finalized.
