General information about the train
A fleet of nine vintage steam locomotives provide the power to climb the steep and twisty narrow gauge tracks to Silverton.
The outdoor car
has long been a favorite of passengers of the Denver & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad, as it provides unobstructed views of the mountains, river and canyons. The car features padded bench seats with backrests.
Vintage coaches
provide padded bench seats and are heated during the winter.
The Parlor
provides passengers with comfortable lounge-type seating, as well as an outdoor viewing platform. Beverages, croissants, and a glass of champagne are included.
Travel a century-old rail line from Durango Colorado to the historic gold mining town of Silverton over the most scenic narrow gauge railroad in North America. Daily departures from May 3rd through October 31st. Reservations are REQUIRED!
