Denali and Interior - Denali-Prince William Sound Explorer Fairbanks
6 days / 5 nights

This incredible 6 day/5 night itinerary is packed with unforgettable sights. Take a memorable train journey to Denali National Park. With six million acres, Denali National Park & Preserve is larger than Massachusetts. Located in the heart of Alaska’s magnificent and rugged interior, the park is home to majestic Mt. McKinley, North America’s highest mountain. The Park also features glaciers, a sub-arctic ecosystem and an internationally designated biosphere preserve with moose, caribou, Dall sheep, grizzly bears and wolves. Scenery lovers will especially appreciate the day cruise of Prince William Sound with its glistening glaciers and abundant marine life. Prince William Sound is ringed by the steep and glaciated Chugach Mountains. The coastline is convoluted, with many islands and fjords, several of which contain tidewater glaciers, and provides many opportunities for wildlife viewing.
