Changes are permitted to rail, only bookings up to 14 days before your trip date for a modest $16 per person fee. No changes are possible within 14 days of your scheduled arrival. Packages are subject to a $32 per person change fee.
Cancellations:
Cancellations are permitted to rail, hotel and tour bookings up to 14 days before your trip date for a 25% cancellation fee ($35 per person minimum). No cancellations are possible within 14 days of your scheduled arrival in Alamosa.
Handicap:
All train cars are handicap accessible.

Rio Grande Scenic Railroad: Booking Options

The newly re-awakened Rio Grande Scenic Railroad closed a deal recently on two “new” steam locomotive. The engines will soon arrive in Alamosa joining joining the SP1744 to kick off the railroad's third season with daily service over La Veta Pass.
