El Paso to Chihuahua
This incredible tour begins as you check-in to Hotel San Francisco in Chihuahua for a night of relaxation. Airport bus transfers from downtown El Paso are included. (Buses leave every hour)

Chihuahua to Divisadero
Your rail odyssey begins as you board the "ChePe" first class train, bound for Divisadero. The scenery gradually changes from a dry and relatively flat desert landscape to that of scenic mountains and valleys, as you climb from an elevation of 4,600 feet to more than 8,000 to crest the Sierra Madre Range. Upon arriving Divisadero at around 12:45 pm, you transfer to the famous Mansion Tarahumara Hotel. (Dinner) Upgrade available to Posada Mirador (canyon side views)

The views of the three Canyons that comprise Copper Canyon make Divisadero ("The Divide") an unforgettable stop on your trip across the mountains. This area is four times larger than the Grand Canyon and gives visitors many memorable vistas of this pristine mountain wilderness.

Divisadero to Creel
Following lunch, you re-board the ChePe train for a short ninety minute trip to Creel, the shopping and excursion center of the Copper Canyon. After checking in at the Hotel Best Western, you are free to relax or do some exploring on your own. A truly unforgettable and thrilling three day extension to Batopilas is available. (Breakfast, Lunch)

Note: If you are interested in extending your already magnificent journey by traveling to canyon floor please click here for information about the Batopilas Extension.

Creel to Chihuahua
This morning, go on a tour of Creel, including a trip to the Mission, Indian Caves, and Lake Arereko before boarding the ChePe train for your return trip to Chihuahua. Upon arriving in Chihuahua you will be transferred to Hotel San Francisco for a night of relaxation and reflection.

Chihuahua to El Paso
The tour comes to an end as you checkout of your hotel this morning and are transferred to the airport for your flight home. (Buses leave every hour)
