Banff Arrival
Independent arrival in Banff. Spend your afternoon exploring this mountain resort town on your own. Overnight in Banff.

Banff to Kamloops
Travel aboard the Rocky Mountaineer® from Banff to Kamloops in the heart of British Columbia. The journey provides a spectacular range of scenery as you travel between the high peaks of the Canadian Rockies, over mountain passes and through remarkable tunnels, along rocky lakeshores and across the ranchlands of the interior. The day’s highlights include: the Continental Divide; the Spiral Tunnels, a remarkable feat of railroad engineering; Kicking Horse Canyon; Rogers Pass; Craigellachie, where the last spike of the Canadian Pacific Railway was driven; and of course, the glaciers and snow-capped peaks of the Canadian Rockies. Overnight in Kamloops.

Kamloops to Vancouver
Continues westward toward the Pacific and the coastal city of Vancouver. During the day’s journey you will again experience dramatic changes in scenery, from the arid environment of the interior, to winding river canyons and pristine forests, to the rugged Coast and Cascade Mountains, to the rich green fields of the Fraser River Valley. Highlights include the steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River, and the fast-moving waters of Hell's Gate in the Fraser Canyon. Your rail journey concludes upon arrival in vibrant Vancouver in the evening. Admission to Vancouver Observation Deck at Harbour Centre is included today or tomorrow morning, where you will experience spectacular views of the city, the mountains and the ocean. Overnight in Vancouver.
