Your Journey Detailed information
Explore the maritime heritage of this picturesque seaside town and learn about the part the town played in the Second World War.
William the Conqueror ensured Hastings a firm place in English history when he assembled his army there in 1066, though the Battle of Hastings actually took place at nearby Battle. A stronge maritime heritage pervades the town, recently brought into the limelight as the setting for the popular wartime television drama, Foyles War.
A delicious Brunch with a Bellini is served on your outward journey. On arrival at Hastings Station, you are met by your guide and board the coach to visit the Shipwreck centre at Hastings and then join a walking tour or enjoy some free time in the town itself. You rejoin the coach for the transfer back to Hastings Station where you board the Pullman train for the journey back to London. A glass of chilled champagne is served as soon as you board the train, followed by a delicious four-course dinner accompanied by half a bottle of wine.

Rail News & Updates
The British Pullman takes its name from George Mortimer Pullman, an American, who in 1864 built The Pioneer, the first railway carriage designed with true comfort for the passenger. The later creation of the Pullman Car Company in 1882 led to his domination of luxury train travel in Britain from that time onwards.
