Itinerary
Detailed day by day information
Williams, Arizona
Arrive in Williams anytime after 3:00 pm to pick up your vouchers and check in at the Grand Canyon Railway Hotel. This three-star hotel is owned and operated by the Railway, and features an indoor pool and spa, workout room, and Spenser's Lounge, which has a 19th-century mahogany bar with a storied history.

Enjoy a complimentary dinner for your entire party at Grand Depot Café Restaurant as you spend your evening in rustic Williams. Take a stroll down Route 66, just two blocks south of the depot. At 6,800 feet elevation you can enjoy the fresh, mountain air.

Williams to Grand Canyon
Enjoy a buffet style breakfast at Grand Depot Café Restaurant. Keep your eyes open because the Cataract Creek Gang has been known to frequent the restaurant in the morning. After breakfast, it's time for an old-fashioned showdown between the same Cataract Creek Gang and the Marshal. Be sure to check out the entertainment west of the train depot.

All aboard as the train departs Williams for the Grand Canyon! You'll travel the same 65-mile rail line that passengers first traversed more than a century ago. Enjoy the scenery as the elevation changes during the 2 hour and 15 minute trip. You'll arrive at the South Rim.

Once you de-board, your bags will be transferred to your hotel room at the Maswik Lodge. You'll then have approximately 27 hours to enjoy Grand Canyon National Park, where you’ll find many activities to choose from. You'll arrive at the Grand Canyon Depot in the heart of historic Grand Canyon Village. Most of the buildings that grace the South Rim were built by the railroad, including the El Tovar Hotel, built in 1905. Along the rim you'll find historic sites, places to eat and shop, and of course, some of the most breathtaking views you'll ever see. Enjoy the evening and a Grand Canyon sunset.

Grand Canyon to Williams.
The following day, the Grand Canyon Railway departs the depot on its way back to Williams. Relax in the comfort of your train car after experiencing the Grand Canyon. The train pulls back into Williams Depot. This concludes the Canyon Limited package.

Please note: every room has two queen size beds and can accommodate up to 5 people per room. Accordingly, we will automatically book the number of rooms needed to keep you under the 5 person per room limit. While every attempt will be made to accommodate you at the Grand Canyon Railway Hotel, alternate hotels may be used.
