Itinerary
Detailed day by day information
Day 1: Seward
After arriving in the coastal town of Seward, you'll be transferred to your dayboat for your cruise of Kenai Fjords National Park. Kenai Fjords National Park has abundant marine life and is a must for those interested in glacier viewing, whale watching, Alaska bird watching, and wildlife viewing. This evening, explore the town at your leisure. Overnight in Seward.

Day 2: Seward - Anchorage
You'll have time on your own this morning in beautiful Seward. Then, travel up the Seward Highway to Alaska’s largest city, Anchorage. In the evening, enjoy a tour of Alaska's largest city and have dinner at the Sourdough Mining Company. Overnight in Anchorage. (D)

Day 3: Anchorage - Denali
Travel in the morning by luxury motor coach to Denali National Park, where comfortable accommodations await you. With six million acres, Denali National Park & Preserve is larger than Massachusetts. Located in the heart of Alaska’s magnificent and rugged interior, the park is home to majestic Mt. McKinley, North America’s highest mountain. The Park also features glaciers, a sub-arctic ecosystem and an internationally designated biosphere preserve with moose, caribou, Dall sheep, grizzly bears and wolves. Overnight in Denali.

Day 4: Denali
Join us on a wonderful Natural History Tour to explore our favorite parts of Denali National Park. Join us on the Natural History Tour to explore the natural wonders of Denali National Park. The Natural History Tour offers you a quick taste of some of the six million acres in Denali National Park. Private vehicles can navigate the first 14 miles into Denali, and this guided bus tour will continue just past that point to mile 19. It may be enough of a glimpse to convince you how pristine and special this place really is. Much of the day will be free for you to participate in park-sponsored activities or optional tours that we can arrange for you. Overnight in Denali.

Day 5: Denali - Anchorage
Relax in your glass-domed McKinley Explorer railcar and soak up the scenery en route to cosmopolitan Anchorage in the afternoon. We'll meet you there and take you to your hotel. Anchorage provides many opportunities for entertainment with access to some of the freshest seafood in the world, which Alaska chefs offer up in a variety of mouth-watering creations. From plump, cold-water Kachemak Bay oysters, to Alaska king crab, fresh-caught halibut, and wild Alaska salmon – the staple of Alaska seafood, Anchorage has it all! The city is also home to Alaska's largest selection of quality Alaska Native art and souvenirs such as finely crafted ivory, Native masks, and carved jade. And no sales tax! Overnight in Anchorage.

Day 6: Anchorage
We'll transport you to the airport and say goodbye until next time.

This tour includes: 5 nights hotel accommodations; ship and airport transfers; Kenai Fjords National Park Cruise; Tundra Wilderness Tour. This tour is not escorted and does not include meals.
