Payment: We require a credit card to guarantee your reservation, while awaiting full payment by check. Should RailsNW NOT receive payment within ten business days, we will charge your card the full amount of the trip, plus an administrative fee of $50 per person. Additionally, you will need to return the booking form accepting the trip arrangements and costing.
Changes and Cancellations: Reservations are refundable up to 35 days before departure, less an administrative fee of $100 per person. No refunds or changes are possible within 35 days of departure.
Travel Insurance: Travel Insurance is required for this special excursion. Purchase through us for 7% of the total trip cost or furnish proof of your own policy.
Smoking Policy: No smoking is permitted on the train. Hotel rooms may have limited smoking capacity.
Luggage: Carry-on only. No luggage handlers or porters will be available. Dome passengers will NOT have access to overnight bags during the trip.
Handicapped accessibility: This is a vintage train and as such, offers no handicapped accessible facilities.
Lodging: All requests will be communicated to hotels but we cannot guarantee location, bedding, or any other room requests. Guests are responsible for any damage to rooms.
Note: RailsNW is only acting as your agent in making this trip possible, and assumes no responsibility or liability for problems of any kind involving the train, accommodations, busses or any other component of this trip which are outside of our immediate control. Furthermore, the trip operator retains the right to substitute equipment, change the itinerary as needed, or to cancel the trip all together if we need to because of safety, contractual or any other situation which might arise in advance or during the trip.
