Vancouver Arrival
We will meet you upon arrival at the Vancouver International Airport and transfer you to your Downtown Vancouver accommodations. Admission to the Vancouver Observation Deck at Harbour Centre is included, where you will experience spectacular views of the city, the mountains and the ocean. Overnight at The Fairmont Hotel Vancouver.

Vancouver to Kamloops, GoldLeaf® Service
Travel aboard the Rocky Mountaineer® Vancouver to Kamloops in the heart of British Columbia while enjoying the added luxury and amenities of GoldLeaf® Service. Watch panoramic views of the spectacular scenery through dome windows and relish gourmet meals in the GoldLeaf® Dining Room. During the journey you will experience dramatic changes in scenery, from the rich green fields of the Fraser River Valley, to forests and winding river canyons surrounded by the rugged peaks of the Coast and Cascade Mountains, to the arid environment of the interior. Highlights include the fast-moving waters of Hell's Gate in the Fraser Canyon, and the steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River. Kamloops to Jasper, GoldLeaf® Service
Your rail excursion continues north and east toward the mighty Canadian Rockies. Once again, you will be surrounded by dramatic scenery as you follow the banks of the North Thompson River through the Monashee and Cariboo Mountains, climbing toward the high peaks of the Continental Divide. Highlights include Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies at 3,954 metres (12,972 feet), as well as the climb over the Yellowhead Pass into Jasper National Park. End your rail journey in Jasper during the evening. Overnight at The Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge.

Jasper Sightseeing
Meet your driver/guide, concierge, and fellow travelers for a morning tour of Jasper National Park. Visit Pyramid and Patricia Lakes, Maligne Canyon and Athabasca viewpoint before returning to your accommodations at the historic Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge. All traveling in the Canadian Rockies is aboard a specially designed motorcoach, which provides extra legroom and additional comfort. The remainder of the day is yours to spend at your leisure. Overnight at The Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge.

Icefields Parkway Tour from Jasper to Lake Louise
Continue your trip through the Canadian Rockies as you travel along one of the most scenic highways in the world, the Icefields Parkway. Among the highlights are Crowfoot Glacier, Peyto Lake, the Columbia Icefield, Sunwapta Falls and Athabasca Falls. The Columbia Icefield is one of the largest accumulations of ice south of the Arctic Circle, in addition it is one of the most accessible icefields in North America. Here you will ride an Ice Explorer to the middle of Athabasca Glacier and learn more about its geological features. Time will be available for lunch (not included). Arrive in Lake Louise late in the afternoon, just in time for a guided one-hour lakeshore stroll. Overnight at The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise.

Lake Louise to Banff
Experience Banff and Yoho National Parks during this full-day tour. Begin your morning in Yoho Park visiting the Spiral Tunnels, Emerald Lake and a natural Rock Bridge that spans the Kicking Horse River. After free time for lunch (not included) your tour continues to the main attractions of Banff. Among the highlights are Bow Falls, the Cave and Basin Centre, Banff Gondola, Surprise Corner and the Hoodoos*. Overnight at The Fairmont Banff Springs.

Free Day in Banff
Explore Banff National Park at your leisure. Some optional activities include soaking in the mineral pools at Upper Hot Springs, enjoying a nature walk on nearby mountain trails, visiting Banff's historic museum, cruising on Lake Minnewanka, or enjoying a round of golf. Overnight at The Fairmont Banff Springs.

Banff to Calgary
Transfer in the morning to the Stampede City of Calgary for a City Highlights Tour. Calgary was the venue for the 1998 Winter Olympic Games, and your tour will include a visit to Calgary Olympic Park with it's towering ski jumps and bobsled runs. Spend the rest of the day at your leisure in Calgary. A visit to the Calgary Tower is included, where you can view the city and the Rocky Mountains in the distance. Overnight at The Fairmont Palliser Hotel.

Vacation ends
After check-out in the morning, we will transfer you by limousine to the Calgary International Airport, where your tour concludes.
