Detailed day by day information
Mazatlán
Arrival in Mazatlán and private transfer from the airport or bus station to Hotel Playa Mazatlán, with an ocean view. Your transfer includes soft drinks and bottled water. Your driver will provide information about the area and the activities you can do during your stay in Mazatlán.

Mazatlán
Morning city tour and rest of the day is yours to spend at your leisure. Hotel Playa Mazatlán.

For the tour of Mazatlán, we will drive by the Golden Zone where most of the resorts and nice restaurants are located, as well as many boutiques and shops.  We will also drive along the water front, making a stop to see the “high cliff divers."

We will also visit a residential zone on our way to see the Cathedral and main plaza and time will be allotted to browse at the city market.

Mazatlán
Free day. Hotel Playa Mazatlán.

Mazatlán - Los Mochis - El Fuerte
Transfer to the bus station to take a local first class motorcoach to Los Mochis (bus tickets included). Upon arriving (6 hours later approximately) transfer to the colonial town of El Fuerte. Hotel La Choza (Popular Tour) or Hotel Posada del Hidalgo (Superior Tour).

El Fuerte - Divisadero (D)
Today: Dinner included at Divisadero hotel
Early this morning, transfer to the train station to board the First Class Ferromex “ChePe” train to Divisadero. The train leaves at 7:30 am and arrives in Divisadero at 12:20 pm. Upon arriving transfer to Hotel Mansión Tarahumara with a mountain view (Popular Tour) or the Hotel Posada Mirador with a canyon rim view (Superior Tour).

This afternoon, explore the mountains and canyons where reclusive Tarahumara Indians live in Log cabins and caves. The mysterious canyons conceal in their depths Indian caves and villages, old Spanish mines and modern villages.

Divisadero - Creel (BL)
Today: Breakfast and lunch included at Divisadero hotel
Use your free time this morning to bargain with the Tarahumara Indians who sell their handicrafts near the hotel. After lunch, transfer to the train station. Upon arriving in Creel at 2:05 pm transfer to Hotel Best Western.

Creel - Chihuahua (L)
Today: Light lunch included
Early this morning, transfer by private transportation to Chihuahua City. Your bilingual tour guide/driver will meet you at your hotel. On the way, you will tour the town visiting Arareko Lake, Mushroom Valley, the Tarahumara Caves, and the old mission, among other attractions. Then on the way we will stop at the Mennonite Community where we will have a light lunch and will visit the local museum. We continue on to Chihuahua and transfer to Hotel San Francisco.
