Los Mochis to El Fuerte
Upon arriving in Los Mochis, you will be transferred to the historic town El Fuerte for a relaxing and quiet evening in this fantasic colonial town. (The transfer time is 1.5 hours and can be accommodated to any flight/bus arrival time.)
El Fuerte to Divisadero
Today you get to do it all over again on your return trip to Divisadero, this time climbing from sea level to an elevation of more than eight thousand feet. Spectacular rivers, canyons, mountains, and towering cliffs abound in all directions. Upon arriving in Divisadero, you will be transferred to your hotel for the evening. The hotels in Divisadero all provide view’s which overlooks the mighty Urique Canyon. Upgrading to the Superior Hotel option will provide patios with fantastic canyon views from your room.
The views of the three Canyons that comprise Copper Canyon make Divisadero ("The Divide") an unforgettable stop on your trip across the mountains. This area is four times larger than the Grand Canyon and gives visitors many memorable vistas of this pristine mountain wilderness. This line took 111 years to complete due to the financial hurtles caused in part by mountainous terrain and rugged canyons. By the time the railroad was completed in 1961, more than 200 trestles/bridges and 87 tunnels were built. The railroad climbs more than 8,000 feet to crest the mighty Sierra Madre Mountains.

Divisadero to Los Mochis
Breakfast and Lunch included at the hotel before departing at approximately 1pm, heading for Los Mochis. Today you traverse the most rugged railway in the Western Hemisphere as you descend nearly 8,000 feet through the Sierra Madre Range. Canyon and mountain scenery abounds in all directions. Upon arrival in Los Mochis you will be transferred to your downtown Los Mochis hotel for the evening.

Your Copper Canyon adventure comes to a close this morning as you check out of the hotel and are transported to the airport for your flight.
