Payment:
We require a credit card on file for guarantee at time of booking. Upon receiving trip confirmation by email, please send us a check (drafted in U.S. currency only) to the address indicated on the confirmation, along with the signed authorization and disclosure form.
If you live outside of North America, we will process the credit card on file, but still require that you send or fax us the signed authorization and disclosure form.
Changes and Cancellations:
Reservations are non-refundable or changeable within 90 days of departure. We will assess a 50% cancellation fee for cancellations 90+ days before the trip date.
Smoking Policy:
No smoking is permitted on the train or hotel rooms.
Luggage:
Hand baggage only on the train. Tagged luggage will automatically be transferred from hotel to hotel, all you need to do is get it to the lobby. Bags will be waiting for you in your room at the next destination.
Handicapped accessibility:
This is a vintage train and as such, offers no handicapped accessible facilities
Note: RailsNW is only acting as your agent in securing lodging, hotel transfers, tour components and railroads. Accordingly, we assume no responsibility or liability for problems of any kind involving the train, hotels, buses or any other component of this trip. Furthermore, we retain the right to substitute equipment, change the itinerary as needed, or to cancel the trip all together if we need to because of safety, contractual or any other situation which might arise in advance or during the trip. Additionally, RailsNW retains the right to surcharge passengers without notice, should the final price of the trip come in higher than anticipated. Should we need to apply a surcharge, you will be notified by email or mail of the amount charged and revised trip total prior to departure.
While we don't anticipate needing to apply a surcharge, anything is possible when working with special excursion trips. If you are uncomfortable booking something that isn't guaranteed until the day of departure, we strongly recommend not booking passage on this, or any special train excursion as they are highly susceptible to changes in price and schedule.
