After spending your first night in the beautiful capital city of Adelaide, it’s time to take a short flight over to Kangaroo Island for a genuine Australian wildlife treat. Experience an abundance of wildlife up close and in the wild like nowhere else in Australia. There are koalas in the trees above you and kangaroos or wallabies in the surrounding bush land. You can even walk amongst sea lions on a classic Australian white, sandy beach and observe a colony of over 20,000 fur seals! The unique natural wonders include the Remarkable Rocks – huge granite boulders carved by nature. Of course you’ll also get to sample some of the area’s finest produce along the way including the freshest seafood from the surrounding waters and fine regional wines.

On your return to Adelaide, you’ll have free time and a private tour to take in all of the city’s major attractions before boarding The Legendary Ghan in time for dinner on your way north to Alice Springs, the gateway to outback Central Australia. While the feature attraction here is undoubtedly the sunrise walk around the world famous Uluru (Ayers Rock), your time here will be filled with many more wonders including the spectacular Kings Canyon and Kata Tjuta (Olgas), plus a host of cultural and artistic delights. As you continue your journey there’s time to explore Katherine and the sensational Katherine Gorge before going on to Darwin’s only 5-star beachside resort for your final night, where you can sit back, relax and think about all the unforgettable memories you’ve collected along the way.
