Cottonwood
Check into the Best Western Cottonwood Inn after 3:00 pm and enjoy a swim in the heated outdoor pool, take a dip in the hot tub, or enjoy a leisurely stroll through downtown Cottonwood.

Cottonwood/Verde Canyon Railroad
After enjoying an expanded continental breakfast, head towards the Verde Canyon Railroad for a memorable journey through the spectacular Indian ruins, trestles, and wildlife habitat of the Verde Canyon. After getting back from your journey on the railroad, join us for a night of rip roaring fun at the Blazin' M Ranch Chuckwagon Supper and Live Western Stage Show [Click here for more details]. Later, return to Cottonwood for another restful night at the Best Western.

Cottonwood to Williams
After enjoying an expanded continental breakfast, Drive to Williams. Check in to the Grand Canyon Railway Hotel after 3:00 p.m., which is located across from the train depot. The facility is a three-star hotel owned and operated by the Railway and features an indoor pool and spa, workout room and Spenser's Lounge, which has a 19th-century mahogany bar with a storied history. Note: every room has two queen size beds and can accommodate up to 5 people per room.

Enjoy a complimentary dinner for your entire party at Max & Thelma's Restaurant as you spend your evening in rustic Williams. Take a stroll down Route 66, just two blocks south of the depot. At 6,800 feet elevation you can enjoy the fresh, mountain air.

Williams to Grand Canyon
Enjoy a buffet style breakfast at Max & Thelma's Restaurant. Keep your eyes open because the Cataract Creek Gang has been known to frequent the restaurant in the morning. After breakfast, it's time for an old-fashioned showdown between the same Cataract Creek Gang and the Marshal. Be sure to check out the entertainment west of the train depot.

All aboard as the train departs Williams for the Grand Canyon! You'll travel the same 65-mile rail line that passengers first traversed more than a century ago and enjoy the scenery as the elevation changes during the 2 hour and 15 minute trip. You'll arrive to the South Rim.

Once you de-board, your bags will be transferred to your hotel room at the Maswik Lodge. You'll then have approximately 27 hours to enjoy Grand Canyon National Park where you’ll find many activities to choose from. You'll arrive at the Grand Canyon Depot in the heart of historic Grand Canyon Village. Most of the buildings that grace the South Rim were built by the railroad, including the El Tovar Hotel, built in 1905. Along the rim, you'll find historic sites, places to eat and shop, and of course, some of the most breathtaking views you'll ever see. Enjoy the evening and a Grand Canyon sunset.

Grand Canyon to Williams
The following day, Grand Canyon Railway departs the Grand Canyon Depot on its way back to Williams. Relax in the comfort of your train car after experiencing the Grand Canyon. The train pulls back into Williams Depot. Enjoy dinner at Max & Thelma's a short distance from the train platform. Then adjourn for the evening in the comforts of the Grand Canyon Railway Hotel.

Williams
Enjoy a buffet style breakfast at Max & Thelma's Restaurant. check out of the hotel and the tour ends
