Itinerary Detailed day by day information
Day 1: Saturday - Fairbanks
Upon arrival in Alaska’s largest interior city, transfer to the centrally located Alpine Lodge Hotel. Fairbanks is winter at its best in Alaska.
Day 2: Sunday - Fairbanks to Anchorage
Transfer to the rail depot and board the Aurora Train for your journey to Anchorage. Enjoy the breathtaking Alaska Wilderness on your journey to Alaska’s largest city. Upon arrival, transfer to the Anchorage Grand Hotel, centrally located and within walking distance of downtown, for your overnight stay.
Day 3: Monday - Anchorage
Free day in Anchorage. Explore Alaska’s capital and largest city, and take in the brilliantly decorated storefronts in the city or visit one of the many museums or galleries. After a full day of shopping and exploring, return to the Anchorage Grand Hotel for your overnight stay.
Day 4: Tuesday - Anchorage
Transfer to the airport mid-morning for your flight to Fairbanks. Upon arrival in Alaska’s largest interior city, transfer to the Chena Hot Springs Resort. Enjoy a soak in the natural outdoor hot springs adult rock lake or indoor pool with children, visit the world's only year-round Aurora Ice Museum, take a dog cart ride or guided ATV tour, or take the free renewable energy tour daily at 6PM.
Day 5: Wednesday - Anchorage
Your tour ends in Anchorage with your transfer to the airport for your return flight home.
