Friday: Fly into Fairbanks from Anchorage on an early morning flight and travel to Chena Hot Springs Resort. A variety of tour options are available for purchase - dog sled rides, ice skating, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, flightseeing, sleigh rides and snow coach tours. Visit the Aurora Ice Museum, featuring six rooms and an ice bar. Overnight at Chena and relax in the natural hot springs. You can also opt to spend another night.

Saturday: Return to Fairbanks to explore the northern city. Visit the University of Alaska's Museum of the North. Explore your dining and shopping options. Overnight in Fairbanks.

Sunday: Ride the Aurora Winter Train from Fairbanks to Anchorage. Dine onboard and watch for wildlife. Overnight in Anchorage.
