Silverton
Arrive in Silverton. Silverton's many attractions are as varied and diverse as the history and people of Silverton. There are places to go and things to see and do for every interest and every age group, such as the Mayflower Mill Tour, Old Hundred Gold Mine Tour, San Juan Historical Society & Museum, and Sky Ute Casino. Overnight at the historic Grand Imperial Hotel in downtown Silverton.

Silverton to Durango
The sound of the train whistle signals your departure from Silverton and a restful trip to Durango. Over the next 3.5 hours you will be treated to spectacular mountain and canyon scenery. Durango is the kind of town you daydream about - there are endless ways to relax, rejuvenate and reinvigorate. The people are friendly and down to earth, the scenery is awe-inspiring, and the variety of world-class attractions and things to do is unparalleled. Overnight at the Holiday Inn or similar downtown hotel in Durango.

Durango to Silverton
Board the train early in the morning for the return 3.5 hr trip to Silverton. Upon arriving, de-board and enjoy the rest of the day in Silverton. Overnight at the historic Grand Imperial Hotel in downtown Silverton.

Silverton
Have breakfast and check out of the hotel. Tour ends.
