Upon arriving in Silverton, the sound of the train whistle signals your departure from Silverton and a restful trip to Durango. Over the next 3.5 hours you will be treated to spectacular mountain and canyon scenery. Overnight at the Holiday Inn or similar downtown hotel in Durango.

Durango to Silverton
Board the train early morning for the return 3.5 hr trip to Silverton. Upon arriving, de-board and this memorable tour comes to a close. Silverton's many attractions are as varied and diverse as the history and people of Silverton. There are places to go and things to see and do for every interest and every age group, such as the Mayflower Mill Tour, Old Hundred Gold Mine Tour, San Juan Historical Society & Museum, and Sky Ute Casino.
