Detailed day by day information

Durango to Silverton
Arrive in Durango to pick up your tickets at the train station (arrive at least 1 hour before departure to collect your tickets). The "ALL ABOARD" call and two blows of the whistle signal the start of your journey. Over the next 3.5 hours you will be treated to spectacular mountain and canyon scenery. Upon arriving in Silverton you will have the afternoon and evening free to relax or partake in optional activities, such as 4WD touring, gold mine tours, horseback riding, or other fun activities. Just check with the hotel upon arriving. Overnight at the historic Grand Imperial Hotel in downtown Silverton.

Silverton
After breakfast, you have the day free for optional activities or to simply enjoy the town of Silverton. Overnight at the historic Grand Imperial Hotel.

Silverton to Durango
After breakfast, you have the morning free. Following lunch (not included), you will board the train for your return trip to Durango. Upon arrival, this memorable trip comes to a close.
